Hi, my name is Thomas Hudson. I decided to come and live here at Willow Island with my grand-daughter Sophia after the tragic death of my son John and his wife Claudia.

After moving into our new home i got straight to work looking for a job but at my time of life I was not just going to settle for any old job. While i was waiting for a job that I really wanted to come up I set to work raising money any other way that I could to buy Sophia the things that she should have, I painted, went fishing and even tried my hand at a little gardening which was all bringing in small amount of cash which would tide us over for now.
Having Sophia live with me was hard at first, i mean come on my late wife Barbara and I only had our son John what did i know about raising a 9 year old girl! But soon she settled in and we were getting along just fine, in fact I'm really starting to enjoy having her here more and more every day since my wife died a few years back it's just been me so i guess the company is nice.
Despite moving schools she is also doing well in school (not got that A+ report card yet) and has even been making some new friends which can only be good for her. Although if her friend Marsha phones at 1am again i might just snap.
Well thats all from us this week real exciting stuff i know but i do hope you'll visit again. Things should really be changing next week as little Sophia as hard as it is to believe becomes a teenager and believe me I am terrified!!!

Nice start to your blog! You lucked out only rolling two families. You'll be at round 2 before you know it. Good luck with that LTW-I usually don't even attempt that one even with an adult, never mind an elder.

ReplyDeleteWow and elder with a LTW to woohoo with 20 sims is quite and undertaking. These two are endearing, I think Thomas needs to fall for a younger woman so that Sofia has someone to raise her when he kicks the bucket (CAS elders get about 3 weeks max without elixir). A little girl needs a woman in her life IMO! Great start, Looking forward to more!
